The new year
has started off well for Fairchild Industries and we hope that
you are experiencing the same good fortune. Once again, we
enjoyed a record sales year in 2007, exceeding 2006 sales and
outpacing our forecast for the year. We would like to
sincerely thank our customers and suppliers for helping us to
continue to grow and prosper.
Last year was
an exciting year -- we introduced new products, grew our
family of employees, achieved our goal of becoming ISO
9001:2000 certified, gained many new customers and retained
relationships with all of our loyal customers. As a team, we worked
diligently to become better as a company in order to bring you
the highest quality products and services at competitive
prices in a timely manner.
To all of you
who helped make 2007 a record year for Fairchild Industries,
we thank you for your continued trust and support. We are

| ISO 9001:2000
Update: Focus on Quality |
As part
of our commitment to continuous process improvement, we continue to
conduct regular internal audits. We have completed 20 of the 24
scheduled audits in preparation for our ISO 9001:2000 surveillance
audit in the second quarter.
Fairchild Industries' Quality Manager Ruben Velez is happy to
report that the internal audits conducted to date have resulted in
some opportunities for improvement as we prepare for our yearly
inspection.

been Fairchild customers for some time know our commitment to
developing new products to meet our customers' needs. That's why
we're pleased to announce new weatherstripping products for the
automotive restoration market. These new additions further expand
our line-up to include weatherstripping for even more makes and

Meet Tom
Brubeck |
Fairchild Industries
is pleased to welcome Tom Brubeck to its project development team,
adding more depth to this group of experienced
professionals.
As a project coordinator, Tom
works closely with sales and suppliers on custom product orders to
find the best combination of price and quality. He continues to
oversee the project throughout the pre-production phase to keep
everyone informed and ensure that all parameters are met. Tom uses
his degree in communication to aid him in his role as a "purveyor of
information". Explains Tom, "Throughout any project there can be
communication hurdles such as language barriers, timing issues or
miscommunication. It's my job to keep track of the details, keep
everyone informed and help streamline the process for our customers
and suppliers."
In addition to his
role in maximizing the efficiency of the custom order process, Tom
also aids the team in building relationships with new suppliers to
allow Fairchild to continue to offer our customers dependable
quality at a fair price. One of his personal goals for this year is
to get out and meet some of Fairchild's customers and suppliers.
