These are some of the most exciting times in the history of Fairchild Industries. One side of our business is providing better-than-new replacement parts for vehicles originally manufactured as far back as the 1960s. Another side of our business is making parts out of the most high-tech materials engineers can imagine. Today's machinery operates at higher speeds and higher temperatures, which means seals, gaskets and hoses must be built out of tougher elastomeric compounds and to closer tolerances. Those of us who supply such parts must be able to produce at exacting standards for compounds and shape with consistently high quality. We are loving the challenges and our unwavering ability to meet them while, at the same time, maintaining our legendary commitment to customer care. As we ease into the summer months, we may spend our lunch hours playing futbol behind the building, but the thinking about our customers and how we can improve our products and services never leaves our heads.

If you haven’t visited the Fairchild Industries website recently, we invite you to go to www.fairchildind.com to see some of the new facilities we are building into it. Overall, we think it will be easier for people to find the exact products they are looking for. One can search by product number, by material or by product description through the Site Search. The Standard Products database has been expanded. A Vehicle-Specific database has been added, along with a quick-search capability. For customers looking for custom solutions, we provide a simple form that will allow us to respond rapidly and with information that can be important to a new project.

We have also made it easier for you to contact us. If you have questions or comments for Fairchild Industries, go to the Contact Us page. You may direct your comments to precisely the area of the company that can answer your questions.
The website continues to evolve and, as new facilities are added, we will let you know about them. Meanwhile, we look forward to your visit.

As Fairchild Industries expands its expertise into ever-more-technical and ever-more-vital products for our customers, we have added an experienced professional to navigate that path. Steve Baas has 13 years experience in the automotive aftermarket, production engine rebuilding and industrial components manufacturing & distribution industries.
"Now that we’ve begun to concentrate on oil seals and other under-the-hood products, the challenge is to provide the absolute top quality for an acceptable price,” Baas said. “State-of-the-art fluoroelastomers like Viton® or graphite/rubber blends resist high heat, aggressive fuels and chemicals for long-lasting endurance. Closer tolerances in engine designs require tighter fits resulting in greater efficiency. We are fortunate to have the manufacturing infrastructure and strategic partners who can assist in providing these best-fit materials and stringent testing processes that are necessary today. Fairchild Industries can build virtually any type of part, from seals to hoses, gaskets to grommets at a very competitive price.”

Steve also has experience in ISO certification, a process that Fairchild Industries is undertaking now. “In the company’s quest for error-free quality, Fairchild Industries is on track to achieving ISO 9000:2000 certification in the third quarter of this year,” Baas said. “A rare advantage in our favor is that we have five internal auditors to monitor the company's quality processes. Certification at Fairchild Industries will be welcome news for customers who require products to be produced to ISO standards, as they can then be assured of quality parts with legendary customer service because Fairchild Industries is clearly one of the most customer-conscientious organizations around.”

You have probably seen Triton trailers pulling snowmobiles and personal watercraft or hauling something in enclosed trailers somewhere in the North America. Triton Trailers of Hartford, WI is one of the largest trailer manufacturers in the U.S. and, for the last 15 years, has included Fairchild Industries parts in most of its products. Custom grommets, custom rubber plugs and now sponge rubber door seals are some of the Fairchild Industries parts you’ll find in Triton trailers. Why does Triton rely on Fairchild Industries?
Gina Neuman, Senior Buyer at Triton says, “It’s easy. We get reliable, high-quality products and great service. Fairchild Industries is exceptional in that everyone from the person who answers the phone to our rep to the guy who ships the product out the door. They are all pleasant and knowledgeable. And they genuinely care about meeting our needs. In the eight years I’ve been here, we have never have problems with parts or getting inventory here on time, but if we did, I believe the Fairchild people would not rest until the problem was solved. They’re just good, solid people to deal with.”
